Another WWE PPV double feature which once again offers almost six hours of wrestling action from two separate PPV’s, one from RAW and one from Smackdown.

The wrestling on display on both PPV’s has received a fair amount of criticism from fans and the wrestling press.  Myself, I feel there was a few decent matches but some really questionable booking showed.  We all know the travesty that was the MITB women’s result, no real problem with the winner but the way it was done tarnished what was a historical first and far better wrestler’s should have had the honour.  MITB did see the debut of the returning Maria Kanellis and her real life husband Mike Bennett, hopefully something really good will be done with these two down the line.

RAW’s Extreme Rules wasn’t really all that ‘extreme’ due to the PG rating but there was a good cruiserweight match and the cage match for the tag team team titles was fun.  As much as I love Alexa Bliss, her character is excellent and she’s getting better all the time, wrestling wise but the kendo stick match was rubbish.  A waste of her talent and what is creative doing with Bailey?

A good value package but there has been better PPV’s recently.
