Hell in a Cell 2015

Hell in a Cell matches (or standard cage matches) are some of my favourite special bouts as they can be action packed, a bit scary and there’s always a OMG moment as the great Joey Styles would say.  Last year’s PPV was no exception and marked the alleged final match between The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar amongst others.

The first match (on the kick off show and included as an extra) was between Ziggler, Cesaro and Neville taking on Sheamus, King Barrett and Rusev.  John Cena had his open US Title challenge next and was surprised when a certain Mexican came back to WWE.  The first Cell match was a real good one between Roman Reigns taking on Bray Wyatt as part of their never ending feud.  Both wrestlers did a grand job and did their wrestling families proud.  The New Day also had to defend their titles against The Dudley Boyz and are still fighting them constantly on TV which to be fair is now getting very tedious.

Charlotte then defended her newly won Divas Championship against former Champ Nikki Bella who thankfully hasn’t been seen since (at time of writing).  WWE Champ Seth Rollins then had to fight off Kane.  People have criticised the use of Kane constantly in the Rollins Championship reign, however his corporate side and when he retrieved Seth’s statued head was comedy gold.  Kevin Owens then fought Ryback over the IC belt and the main event was the afore mentioned Undertaker/Lesnar fight in the cell.

I enjoyed the PPV and there was some good matches on the card.  A nice release but when are we going to see another Punjabi Prison match?
