This year’s PPV appeared out of nowhere as an ‘exclusive’ for the WWE Network (although it cropped up here on SKY and other TV stations around the world). I was a little worried that it might be a bit of a ‘filler’ event but I was soon put wrong by some great matches on the card.
The most important match as far as I was concerned was Kevin Owens vs. John Cena, we all know the result but it was a superb match with plenty of people shocked by the result. Damn, Owens is an ultra talented heel who should headline hopefully for years. A first for the tag team belts was that it was to be defended in the chamber. Fighting were The New Day, Cesaro and Kidd, Lucha Dragons, The Ascension, Los Matadores and The Prime Time Players. Nikki Bella (boo!!) took on Paige and Naomi in a triple threat match. Adrian Neville fought Bo Dallas, which was interesting as both were NXT Champions.
The final chamber match was for the vacant IC Championship with Ziggler, Mark Henry, King Barrett, Sheamus, R-Truth and Ryback. The main event was Seth Rollins taking on Dean Ambrose. As per usual there was interference from Rollins’ henchmen but it was a fun bout.
The kick off show match between Stardust and Zack Ryder is included as an extra on the disc.
I personally thought this PPV was great and thoughly enjoyable, although not perfect I really liked Cena getting his ass kicked, shame nothing lasts forever.
