Nightmare aka Dark Circles

A young couple decide to leave the hustle and bustle of the big city and head out to ‘the sticks’ with their new born baby.  They find their dream house and begin to plan for the future.  Unfortunately things as they always do never quite go to plan and parenthood takes a toll on them.

With the baby crying during the night and next door having building work done, they are both sleep deprived.  To top all this both of them keep seeing a strange young woman in dirty clothes in mirrors and out of the corner of their eyes.

Are they both going bananas or is there something more sinister going on?  Nightmare is one of those films which has a nice slow burning build up and due to this you begin to have real sympathy for the main characters.  The creepy girl is very disturbing and some of the bits where she pops up even had me surprised.

A well made chiller with some great twists and turns.
