Barely Legal

With a slightly dubious title that sounds more like something you would see online or purchase in a ‘specialist’ shop, we have another T&A comedy.

Three friends Cheryl, Lexi and Sue all want to ‘lose it’ on their 18th birthday.  They decide to hold a party so each of them can get a man of their choice to ‘do the deed with’.  Enter all the stereotypical characters and cliches of a R rated teen comedy (although this movie is unrated) we have stoners, topless babes in swimming pools and even a blind guy and his dog.

The story is not original but all the cast seem to be enjoying themselves, in particular the blind guy’s dog who has a most enjoyable scene.  You will be glad to know the girls don’t take long to disrobe (which should please the men watching) and there are a couple of hunky dudes for the ladies.  However, the main reason for the film to exist is the afore mentioned nudity which there is plenty of the ‘north and south’ variety and smutty humour.  For that the film brought a smile to my face.

Entertaining in a trashy way, not going to change the world and certainly not a complete waste of time.  Rather like Ronseal, it does exactly what it says on the tin.
