Ballistica

When a bunch of terrorists get hold of a weapon which can kill 1000?s of people, there’s only one man for the job.  Enter crack CIA agent, Damien played by Paul Logan.  Logan you may know from Mega Piranha where he should have won some award for acting so straight against a load of CGI fish, here he finally gets to show his fighting skills and does a darn good job kicking ass.

What’s nice about this film is that it has a straight forward paper thin plot with plenty of action and great support from the legendary Robert Davi, Martin Kove and the Wishmaster himself Andrew Divoff playing a slimy terrorist.  As mentioned above Logan is a a bit of a revelation, he is in good shape, he looks dangerous with a gun and has some nice fight scenes.  Could this man be on course to be a new action hero, who knows?
A low budget fun actioner along the lines of good old Cannon films.  A real good time waster, let’s hope we have a sequel.
Oh yes, before I forget Ballistica is a combination of gunplay and martial arts, it has to be seen to be believed.
